Spalted Maple is a beautiful wood with a very interesting grain pattern. Maple is generally brighter than other common woods used in ukuleles, such as Koa and Mahogany. That makes the Spalted Maple ukuleles naturally bright and lively, with good projection that pops in mixes.

The Bondi Spalted Maple series ukuleles uses this stunning tone wood for the top, back, and sides of the ukuleles. A natural wood binding is used to accentuate the grain.

The Rosewood fretboard sits on a solid mahogany neck and is capped with rosewood binding, high ratio chrome plated tuners and a bone nut to keep your uke perfectly in tune. The Spalted Maple series is available in Soprano, Concert, and Tenor sizes.

The Bondi Spalted Maple series has an acoustic/electric option. These ukes have an onboard preamp and pickup system that amplifies the natural tone of the instrument. The preamp has a 3 band EQ to dial in the perfect sound for any room.
